Itinerary
Day 1: LONDON – DOVER – CALAIS – PARIS
This morning your executive coach and Tour Manager will meet you at your chosen pick-up point, where you board the coach and depart for Dover. Upon arrival you embark the ferry for the cross channel sailing to Calais. Whilst onboard, you have some free time to purchase refreshments or indulge in some French tax paid shopping. On arrival into Paris, visit the top floor of Eiffel Tower, which will give you a stunning birds-eye-view of Paris. Later we proceed for a short orientation tour, which covers Champs Elysees Street, Concorde Square and Invalides. Later check into the hotel after an Indian meal.
Day 2: PARIS – GENEVA
Early morning, depart from Paris, and start your long but comfortable journey to the international capital city of Geneva, one of the most visited cities of Switzerland. After arriving in Geneva late afternoon we proceed for a short orientation tour to see the main highlights including the United Nations Building,Geneva Flower Clock and the glorious English Gardens. Later enjoy some free time for shopping.
Day 3: GENEVA – PISA – FLORENCE
This morning after breakfast we check-out of the hotel and start our journey towards Pisa. Upon arrival you will have a great opportunity to marvel at the most intriguing structure, The Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Duomo. You will also have some free time to buy souvenirs for your friends and family. In the late afternoon we continue our journey to arrive in Florence area for our overnight stay.
Day 4: (Tuesday) FLORENCE – ROME
Today we visit the enchanting city of Florence where we have chance to see the impressive architecture, see the Basilica of Santa Croce, the renowned statue of David, the famous bridge Ponte Vecchio on the Arno River and The Piazzale Michelangelo for the most outstanding view of Florence. Later we proceed on to the city of Rome and check in to our hotel.
Day 5: ROME – VATICAN CITY
Today, after breakfast we proceed towards the 'Eternal city' and capital of Italy, Rome. Here you will be taken for a full day sightseeing of Rome with a local professional guide, we start by taking a photo stop and visit to the Coliseum home of the gladiators, we then proceed to the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, and many other historical sights of Rome including the Vatican City. (Major Part of the sightseeing tour is done on foot as coaches are restricted to enter many parts of Rome.)
Day 6: ROME – VENICE
After breakfast, we checkout of the hotel and drive through the Italian highways to reach Venice, the city of romance. On arrival we start by a boat ride to visit, St Mark's Square, the most elegant square in the world, it is the undisputed symbol of Venice. You will also see the famous Bridge of Sighs, Basilica di San Marco and also visit the Murano Glass Showroom. Here, you have the opportunity to buy the famous Murano Glass items. Finally no visit to Venice would be complete without a romantic Gondola ride.
Day 7: VENICE – LUZERN – ENGELBERG
This morning check out of the hotel and start your journey towards the beautiful hill station of Engelberg.On the way we make a stop in the magnificent city of Luzern. Here you will visit the famous Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge. You will also have some free time to shop and explore this scenic place. In the early evening we check in to our hotel.
Day 8: MT. TITLIS WITH LUNCH – RHINE FALLS – BLACK FOREST – STRASBOURG
After breakfast we start our ascent up Mount Titlis via the world's first revolving cable car that reaches the highest viewpoint in Central Switzerland (10,000 ft.) Whilst at the top why not enjoy a snow fight in the layers of snow as it is guaranteed 365 days a year. FREE ICE FLYER AS A 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY GIFT TO ALL OUR CLIENTS. In the afternoon before your commence your journey down, enjoy a sit down Indian lunch on the mountain surrounded by spectacular views of the nearby mountains. Later drive towards the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls that is situated on the border of Germany and Switzerland. Continuing the journey we drive through the beautiful Black Forest making a stop to visit the cuckoo clock factory where you enjoy a demonstration of how these famous cuckoo clocks are made. You will also have the opportunity to purchase a huge range of souvenirs and cuckoo clocks.
Day 9: STRASBOURG – CALAIS – DOVER – LONDON
This morning after checking out of our hotel we commence our journey to Calais, time permitting we make a short stop at a local cash & carry before boarding our ferry for the short cross channel sailing to Dover. We arrive back to London late evening. |
